The 500 Coupe Zagato from Fiat is the latest entry in the world of successful collaborations between European giant Fiat and Italian designer Zagato. This concept premiered at the 2011 Geneva International Motor Show to thunderous applause.
The Zagato brand was started at the end of World War I as Ugo Zagato put aircraft construction techniques to use in designing passenger vehicles. They were advanced in design and known to be lightweight and have excellent aerodynamics, much like many compact and sub-compact automobiles today.
This prototype car is powered by a modest 105HP twin air engine so it is not only powerful for a 3550x1630x1490 mm size car, it is environmentally friendly too. It comes with an in-dash multimedia port for your cell or tech-toy to invite the younger crowd. In order to keep the high standards associated with a Fiat 500, the styling was revamped to be both sporty and aggressively appealing.
