We are lovers of multi screen displays. We have earlier told you about Canova’s dual touch screen laptop and Dual Flip-up Flat Panel LCD Monitor from General Digital. Another impressive one comes from Acme. The folding multi display is also great for carrying with you wherever you go, so your work performance doesn’t suffers in case you are addicted to working on multi screen or even if you are a hardcore gamer.

Depending on how much time you spend (and what you do) on the computer, one monitor may not be enough for your, uhh, needs. Two should suffice, but for those who are serious about their viewing pleasure, a new folding multi-display laptop PC will be available sometime this year.
Various features offered by these systems:
- Instant setup
- Integrated keyboard, mouse, and display
- Touch screen
- Padded carrying bag with wheels
- CAD/Music software
- 65 lbs (models currently available; 2008 edition will probably be lighter)
I can see these monitor sets being put to great use by a wide variety of computer users. Gamers, of course, would enjoy the expanse viewing range, as well as these qualities boasted by the company website: “The GTS370 system is available with the QUAD CORE Intel Core 2 processor. With revolutionary performance, ultra system responsiveness, and energy-efficiency, there is no slowing down for multiple compute intensive programs and downloads.” The site also states that all the systems have fast-response LCD screens, which would lead me to assume that screen lag should not be a problem during gameplay.
Being a Photoshop freak, myself, these systems would be a godsend for me and numerous other digital artists. The multiple screens would allow working with high resolution photos much easier, as well as permitting more space to compare multiple large images, without having to click back-and-forth to access them.
The best part about all this is that the entire system is easily foldable, making all the aforementioned activities available on-the-go. Now we just have to wait until the price for these machines to return to Earth.
