Hyundai has revealed new photos and details about i-Flow concept car, which scheduled to make its public debut at upcoming Geneva Morot Show in March.
According to Hyundai its new sports sedan concept comes with all the design cues typical for the new Hyundai style, seen also in the recently launched ix35 and the new Sonata.
Hyundai i-Flow Sport Sedan Concept is the vehicle designed by Hyundai, which features feature a diesel-electric hybrid powetrain. According to the previous information the Hyundai-Kia Group plans to have such a hybrid system on the mass production line by 2012.
The i-Flow comes powered by Hyundai’s new 1.7-liter “U2″ diesel engine, mated with a two-stage turbocharging and a Lithium Ion-Polymer battery pack. The concept car features a six-speed, dual-clutch transmission.
The Hyundai i-flow will return an average fuel consumption of just 3.0 l/100km, which is equal to 78.4mpg US and 94.2 mpg UK, while the CO2 emissions is just 85g/km.
