The first keynote of WWDC 2010 has just finished, with Steve Jobs representing the new iPhone 4… not the iPhone 4G, not the iPhone Pro. The data about the device are available from the leaks, but the design leaves much to be desired, especially when compared to these concepts.
iPhone 4 is available in white or black colors, it has 16GB or 32GB of memory, a 3.5 inch Retina display with 960 x 640 pixel resolution at 326 dpi and multitouch support. The display is supported by a 800:1 contrast ratio and is covered in a fingerprint-resistant oleophobic coating. iPhone 4 has on board a 5 megapixel camera with LED flash and is capable to capture HD 720p videos @30 fps.

This new iPhone from Apple uses an accelerometer, an ambient light sensor and a proximity sensor, as well as a three-axis gyro. The phone has support for Bluetooth and WiFi on board, as well as GSM/EDGE and UMTS/HSDPA. There is also a front camera and the battery provides 7 hours of 3G talk time, 300 hours of (in) standby (mode), 40 hours of audio playback and 10 hours of video playback. The CPU of selection is developed in-house, being the Apple A4.
According to Steve Jobs iPhone OS 4 was turned into iOS 4 that comes with an improved inbox and a couple of extra features, multitasking, like iAd mobile advertising integration.
