In case you’ve been missing concept phones from LG Company, here there are several designs for you, courtesy of the folks who took part in the “Design the Future Competition”. This time the matter concerns LG HF3 phone, which was designed by Aaron Martinez and relying on a new voice recognition technology.
The device displayed above can respond to the users’ voice commands, providing them with access to the contacts, calendar, web, email, multimedia features and even start apps. Due to an advanced Voice Recognition Technology you needn’t pre-record names or commands, as all commands are identified by this technology.

There is also support for speak-to-text, thus there’s no need for keys (real or virtual) on this device. This feature shouldn’t be compared with Vlingo or Google Voice, for it’s not the same, it doesn’t involve a third party application or an extra price. Among other specifications of LG HF3 are Windows Mobile and Bluetooth, a huge touchscreen, a Microsoft Silverlight web browser.
This concept phone has amazing features, especially as far as the performance is concerned. The display uses a TFT active matrix, LED backlight technology, supports a 1920 x 1080 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate , 4 ms response time and 1080p display format. In addition, thanks to an 128GB SD card and an 80GB SIM card the handset can use up to 200GB of memory.
The concept is powered by Li-ion unit battery that takes only 20 minutes to charge, while the device also provides 70 Mbps transfer rate, which is really incredible. Don’t forget to have a look at the phone and at Aaron Martinez’s portfolio over here.
