Nexus electric powered scooter is a concept, which was designed with an aim to become a short commuting solution, which will be used inside the airports.
The front wheels of the concept scooter are equipped with two electric engines. The units are powered by four 12 V batteries, which allow the scooter to be used about 2 hours. There is a freewheel in the rear part of Nexus, which serves as a third point of support to users and allows the concept to carry up to 110 kg of load.
The power plug is located in the front part of the Nexus scooter. This can be used either 110v or 220v, depending on what is available to the user. The handlebar is made of 6061 aluminum. It includes the speed controller and the ignition system to adjust the speed of the scooter up to 15 km/h.
This concept has all the chances to become a more intuitive and interesting way of passing time. It can also be a nice way for some people to move around when they have to spend hours in airports during transit period.
