The main idea of Philips Design is to make the city lights smarter and better looking. However, the most innovative interesting part are the fact that the lights are powered by the sun’s energy. The lights have solar panels, which absorb energy during the day and then use this energy at night.
However, the lights use not just solar power, but also make use of the wind’s energy. Energy efficient LEDs automatically come up to provide lights when needed.
