Volvo Ants is a concept of an aero neumatic transport systems developed by Alex Marzo. The creative designer did his best to come up with the transportation system of the future. For this purpose he did an extensive research in biomimicry, taking his inspiration from ants.
As you may know ants have a special ability to communicate with each other, distribute food, and all responsibilities in their community is intriguing. Thus the concept vehicle implements ants behavior as a cohesive system. Even the exterior of the car looks like the body of the ant and features many modules that ensure that individual vehicles can carry cargo from different companies at the same time.
The Volvo Ants trailer is divided up into sections. These sections can hold individual pieces of cargo allowing Ants to maximize its time spent on deliveries.
